Columbia River Gorge

The Columbia River Gorge is home to one of the largest Chinook and Coho Salmon migrations globally, with over a million salmon returning to the river’s tributaries in some years, making it the most abundant fishing spot on the planet. The river’s serene environment also provides an excellent opportunity for leisurely days with friends, admiring the breathtaking scenery and the magnificent salmon swimming through.

Astoria and Buoy 10

Buoy 10 Salmon fishing in Astoria, Oregon is probably the top Salmon fishery anywhere. Buoy 10 is the most Westerly Buoy in the Columbia River that marks the mouth of the Columbia River before entering the Pacific Ocean. The first part of August usually 100’s of thousands of Salmon enter the Columbia River in pursuit of their migration upriver. It is this that draws people from all parts of the nation to fulfil their dream in catching a fish of a lifetime. It is world famous and a must fishery for anyone in pursuit of BIG SALMON.
